Client's Rights

 

As a Client, you have the right to:  
  • Ask questions about the therapy process
  • Stop therapy at any time without any obligations other than the costs accrued
  • Confidentiality of information will not be revealed to any person or agency without your written permission. However, there are certain situations that the therapist is required and obligated by law to disclose information with or without your permission.*
 

*The mandatory situations are: If you threaten bodily harm to yourself or others;  If you reveal information regarding abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult;. If a judge issues a signed court order or if you are in therapy by order of the court.
